Learning Objectives

By the end of the week, you should:

1. Understand the purpose, use and social dynamics of social networking software.
2. Understand why libraries would want to build presence in social networking software.
3. Brainstorm other online spaces where libraries could be building presence.
4. Identify best practices for building a library presence in social networking software.
5. Identify other online spaces where librarians can build presence to provide outreach.
