Exercise 2: Due Feb 19

The goal of this exercise is to give you experience using advanced tools for manipulating RSS feeds.

1. Create an account with Google Pages (if you don't already have a Google Account, you will need to create one and then add Google Pages).

2. You can do whatever you want to customize the look of the page. Just make it look at least somewhat polished.

3. You will need to add the following content to your page.

1. Display the RSS feed of your blog (you can find the RSS URL by clicking on My Blog in the sidebar (under Blogs), scrolling down to the bottom of the page, and then copying the URL of the orange feed icon. You can use Feed2JS or another similar tool to display the content of your blog.

2. Display the contents of three RSS feeds (your choice) using Grazr.

3. Mix any three feeds using Feed Digest  and display them on your page (use the JavaScript code Feed Digest provides).

4. Create and display a Link Roll of your bookmarked content in del.icio.us in alphabetical order.

Note: To insert any JavaScript or HTML into the Google Page, you will need to click on edit html which is at the bottom right-hand corner of the page.  You can then insert the JavaScript into the appropriate place on the page. When you're finished adding all of the elements to the page, you can preview it and then publish it.

4. On the class wiki, you will see a page called Exercise 2. On that page, please enter your name with a link to your Google Page.
